Myrtle beach is one of the places I really wanted to visit while we were here in South Carolina. Someone in the ward told me about "October season" where all of the resorts have incredible deals to attract people to come when it is "cold." Brandon took off 2 days and we had a very nice 4 day weekend. It was so great to just get away and enjoy the coast- my favorite place in the world! The water was WARM (even though the locals called it "really cold." I bet it was 65-70 degrees, but they say it feels like bath water in the summer). It was a great family vacation!
