EmmaRae was blessed in Portland, Oregon at Alicia's home ward; on our way to South Carolina. EmmaRae Brianne Siemssen is the official name on the church records. There was a family lunch afterwards, and it was a very nice day outside for a family tog get together! Brandon did a wonderful job. It is so important to me to have a worthy priesthood holder in my family.
There was a little bit of stress with getting the dress to the church on time for the blessing. In fact, Brandon was not sure if I would have her ready by the end of the song for him to bless her. He was ready to stand up and say, "Bishop I have no baby to bless." (Another baby was also being blessed, so it would not have been to bad, just extremely embarrassing). EmmaRae did great, quiet the whole time, and people "oohed" and "ahhed" afterwards. It was wonderful to have a last get together before we left.
