The countryside is beautiful here! The weather is a little humid, but the colors are so vibrant here. We live in Gaffney, which apparently, is famous for their peaches. In fact, their water tower here is a peach called, "The Peachoid" and is one of the main attractions. (You can see how small of a town we live in :) We love it here and are making the most of the other nearby attractions (like Revolutionary war monuments, etc.) The southern hospitality so so amazing! They are so nice here. Our apartment is brand new, and beautifully furnished by Corporate Connections (so we only have to take a few things with us, which is SO nice). We love it and will be sad to move in December, when we go to the new assignment, but will be happy to see another part of the country. So for now "Carpe Diem."
